Christmas Lunch

 

 

 

Christmas Dinner will take place on Friday 9^th December.  The menu will consist of turkey, stuffing, sausage, roast potatoes, carrots and peas, gravy, or lentil roast, followed by ice cream.

 

 

 

The cost of the dinner will be £2.20.  We will assume that your child wishes to stay for lunch unless you return the slip stating otherwise by the1st December.

 

 

 

If your child does wish to stay, please could you send themoney to school on Monday 5^th  December.

Because kids don’t come with a manual!!

 

     Parenting is the hardest job in the world and we could all do with a bit of help and encouragement.

 

Lakeside School and Family Matters York are planning to hold a five-session course for parents of KS2 children  giving us “time out” to think about:

 

v     helping your child to be happy at home and school

v     managing difficult behaviour

v     your own issues

 

Dates: Mondays 31st Oct, 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th Nov Time:   7pm to 9pm Venue: Lakeside Primary School, Oakdale Road, Clifton Moor.

 

 The course is free due to generous funding from Clifton Ward.

If you are interested in attending, please complete the slip below and return to school by 7^th October –the course will only run if there is sufficient interest.
