Dear Parents,
As a fun way to complete the busy first term of Year 4, we have arranged a trip to the Grand Opera House to see their Christmas Pantomime of 'Jack and the Beanstalk' which stars a whole host of TV Starts.
The trip will take place on Monday 15th December, and as the performance is in the afternoon, the children will not be back at school until approximately 4:30 depending on York traffic and the frequency of buses to Clifton Moor.
We have been fortunate enough to gain discounted tickets and the cost of the trip is GBP8.50 which also includes the cost of transport. If you would like your child to take part in this fun and educational visit, please could you return the reply slip below with payment as soon as possible.
On the day, your child needs to come to school in their usual Lakeside uniform, and bring with them a packed lunch and drink as we will be eating at the theatre, and a tasty treat to nibble on during the performance!
If you have any questions regarding this trip, do not hesitate to see either Mr Crabtree or Mrs Hill/Miss Wilson.
